How much paint does a D1 team use per match?

I think we shot between 10-15 cases a match in D1.
It's usually safe to say 1.5 cases/point. 2 cases/point is close to the high end.

with the addition of 4 more bunkers and the shortening of the field games should go faster. In turn making for less paint consumption.

My D4 xball team shot 50-60 at World Cup. So I feel like D1 could not do 70 cases. We also shot 50 cases at MAO and chicago. Mind you, we play one less point to win.

I think the extra point to win matters more then you'd think (not to mention the extra 3 minute game clock). Heck just look at the game clock, an extra 3 mins is an increase in 25% (3/12 = .25) of game play. Let's see averaging 50 and 60 cases results in 55 cases. So 55/4 = 13.75. Therefore 55 plus 13.75 equals 68.75 - oh snap that's really close to 70!
Not to mention I imagine most D1 players are on their guns more during a match than a D4 players. More paint bullets in the air constantly - one of the differences in play. |

I'm not a D1 player mind you, but it sounds like folks are saying you should budget for 100 cases to be safe. It could turn out to be less particularly with the new dimensions, but I don't think you will regret budgeting for more paint than you need. Budgeting for less paint is obviously bad LOL!!

That's approximately $4,000 for paint, unless you have some sort of hook-up going on. 10 man roster...$400/person, $2,000/series for paint costs alone....LOVE THE GAME! |

We typically budget for 60 cases. Then if we make the finals (where we shoot closer to 80-90 cases) we know we are getting half if not all of the paint paid for by sponsors depending on if you get 1st or 2nd. |

correct...back in D2 i used a 45/45 and carried 5 pods (NEVER using them all()...by the time we got to pro I was using a 68/45 and carrying up to 8 pods and many times using them all (and I am a front dorito player)

We start with 15 each match sometimes we will shoot up towards 20 in one match though. So I would go ahead and say to budget 100 cases per tournament would be the safest way to plan and be prepared to play in D1.

He's a moron, we shot ~40 at Cup...~50 at MAO...and ~60 at Chicago...Unless he ate 10 cases of paint I don't know about
