This was my first time making a video with my contour, so I wasn't really aware of all the mistakes I was doing (mainly I wasn't always conscious of the camera position vs. my marker so some shots are obscured), but I think it turned out alright for a first try. Hopefully I'll get better as I go on, and get better video from scenarios and big games instead of just rec play.
Any tips on editing techniques? I was just using Windows Movie Maker cause that's all I knew about when I made it.
Dave has all that stuff out back? Never would've known that
The footage is split between PnL Paintball and Fox4. The footage inside of buildings is at PnL, and most of the woodsball is at Fox4. Both excellent fields with their strengths and weaknesses, I love the community at Fox4 though, great refs and great people.
Contour Roam 2, set at 720p @ 60fps. There's the option of 1080p at 30fps, but it is impossible to see paint travel at only 30 frames per second, and running can get a little choppy.
I wish I had got it awhile ago, I would have loved to have gotten some videos of when I played at the West Point scenario game in the fall.
Thanks again for the support guys, I was thinking the video would get torn apart, I'm pretty critical of my own work
