shaft 4 question
I have a green ego 09 and I was thinking of getting the shaft 4 barrel backs. My ego came with a .693 back and was wondering if it was worth getting the .685 and .689 backs? Will this give me an effective barrel kit for the money?
On a side note the shaft 4 green is a sour apple (lime green). Does that even match the ego09 colors? The green of my marker looks more like a forest green and there is no other greens for shaft 4 besides that sour apple.

It probably won't match your 09...and finding the shaft 3 backs will be tough at best. Contact nerve 2030 and have him bore the .693 back for freak inserts...best money I spent

So a shaft 3 is the color match to a 09 ego? Don't know if i really wanna send my back out to get bored because I don't have any other backs to play with.
Wonder if there might be someone in hawaii who can bore out and turn it around in a week.

finding a green shaft 3 is going to be a pain. Kind of looking like you can only get it from BST which there aren't many around.

Just buy a Dye UL they come in every size length and color you can find. They shoot better then the shaft 4 anyway.

it has to be a CNC lathe, that´s how i did it here in Mex, 20 min drive from my house.
Contact nerve I don´t think its going to be a pain at all on turn around time (based on what I ´ve read)
Tonycon is 10000% right, best money ever spent if you want to maintain looks and get the freak , you wont regret it

Yes it's worth getting the smaller backs. The color's will not match. I always shoot DYE UL barrels and prefer them to the Shaft 4.

The turn around for me is different though then most of you all. I live in hawaii and the shipping to him will be atleast 4days alone. Will also have to get myself a set of inserts and everything since i have none currently. I am though highly considering getting temporary barrel so that I can get his service done and still have something to play with.

USPS priority shows it would take 3 days from Hawaii to PA, another 3 days return, if you shipped tomorrow he would have it Saturday and you would have your barrel back by Wednesday. You would only miss one weekend of play. Seems alot better than spending the kind of money your talking about by picking up all the backs for your Shaft 3 or picking up all backs and tip for a Shaft 4.

You are correct sir, but like i said i would still need freak inserts. All in all though the majority of PBNation says "get it bored" which i will most likely do. Going to start looking for inserts, talk Nerve, and get this done.
