Please Help
I am getting out of scenario play and getting into speedball. What is the best gun I can get (used) for under $350, preferably coming with a hopper?
I have been looking around and it seems the invert mini is the only thing in my price range. I have saw a few etek4s, axes, and reflex rails around it.
Any help would be great, Thanks!

If a mini fits in your hands get that..... if its too small for you. Get the axe, in the price range, its the best on the market. In my opinion at least.

There is no "best" and there never will be.
Do research, find markers in your price range that feel conformable to you when holding and shooting them.

Ive done research, if you can't help get off my post. But to the first guy I'm 6'1 165lb and I have fairly large hands, do you think it would be to small?

Go shoot/hold the markers you are interested in that will let you know if it will work for you or not. If you don't like the marker, then try another.
It's your money and will be your marker, get what you want...

You might not live by stores... but you do go to a field correct?
Go to said field and ask some people to just hold their marker. Usually people aren't dicks about it. Hell, the day I got my brand new 2.0 luxe I let some guy I didn't even know shoot off half a hopper through it. I hadn't even done that yet. Usually if its someone thats played awhile, they don't mind and are willing to help.
If you have large hands you might not like the mini. I dont know much about them as when I held one, I knew it wasn't for me. I'm not a big person by any means. I'm 5'11'' and 165lbs.... Wear a size Large glove if that means anything.
Your limit for a hopper and a marker is $350? Could you wait a week or two longer and stretch it to $400? Do you have a tank?

That was helping you. That was a straight forward and as honest as you will get with no fanboism's attached.
If you save another 50.00 you could pick up an Axe for 300.00 and a Rotor for 100.00 used, may want to save another 50.00 to cover shipping, lol. If you can't find a Rotor, go for the Halo Too, it feeds just as fast as most fields allow anyway and will save you about 50.00-60.00 if you buy it used.
There is no perfect set-up, and only you can decide what is best for you. Like rexisme said, go to a field and tell people your in the market for a new gun and want to hold or shoot their set-up. Most of us really don't mind at all. I don't know how many Axe's/Mini's we have sold just by letting a few people test our guns out before hand.

It's personal preference. Save up a little more for an axe and rotor.

Good advice above.
On the Mini size? I am 220 and 6'1", I just bought one used. It feels fine in my hands and I have shot a couple of hoppers. I have held the Mini and the Axe side by side in a couple of shops. I liked them both. Many times I need extra large gloves. I really see it more of a problem for really big guys 6/3+ with bear size hands.
I would have a hard time spending my money on a gun without at least holding it though. As advised above also.
I wanted the Axe, but found a deal on the Mini. I took the deal on the Mini. Not really worried about not getting the Axe. Don't pass on a good deal on a Mini. But saving a little more might get you the Axe. Your really close.

Gamer I just have to say, too many people take your advice as sarcasm or attitude but its genuinely the most helpful words you can get on here. Do your own research, if you have then there should not be such generic questions left to ask about a gun. Do you research and then come ask about the finer points, not whats best, or shoots smoothest or any other incredibly generic answer that could be found by actually doing a finite amount of research. It never ceases to amaze me that people will drop 300, 400, 700, 900, 1,200+ on gear and wont put an hour in to learn more about where they are throwing their money.

No G-5's in BST to compare prices but:
Mini - 225.00
Mini -180.00
Mini - 175.00
or look for your self
Average price for a used mini is about 200.00, that leaves you 150.00 for a loader, I recommend a Dye Rotor and I'm sure you can find one for 150.00 or less used.
