Ninja pro shims??
Just got my 2.0 in today and I have a Ninja pro dura 77. How many shims do I take out to get the desired output?

My pro reg didnt have any red shims in it (the directins say to remove them) but removing all the shims like approx 460-500 psi. if i put 1-2 shims in then it was 580-620. I used a spare old asa with a gauge on it to check but the little guages arent super accurate.

I'm running mine as it came from the factory with excellent results. The Luxe isn't reall picky as long as you are between 450 and 850 psi.

I agree. I ran my first Crush Luxe 2.0 with all three silver shims in like the pro valve came from the factory. In 9 cases, I didn't have a single issue. I have been told by trained techs that I should only run one silver shim. I am running one shim at the current moment, but work has kept me from playing to test it.
Any techs here that have the gospel according to DLX?
I have a Virtue Clock at home. Here in a day or two I will set up two Luxe 2.0's and fire a string over the chrono and post a video. The Virtue Clock will analyze the FPS difference between each shot and should show the difference between the two.

I would think your test would be better if you used one of the two guns to see the results you got with the two different output pressures on the same gun, rather than two different guns. You might have one gun that is super consistent as it is, and another that isn't!

the luxe isn't really picky when it comes to tanks, but When you run lower psi you can tap deeper into the tank to get more shots per fill, I shoot mine with 0 shims

I talked to DLX this past weekend and they recommended high pressure, ~800psi. I've been running 550-650psi perfectly though.

Rob from Ninja suggested that I run on 1 shim. Thank you everyone for all the replies. I will try running all of these to see which gives me the best performance.

Many people including myself have has issues with the noid venting with reg pressures below 450. As long as you stay above there you should be ok. But, My the reg on my gun always liked a higher input pressure.
