Alright so I played this weekend with my ego and it shot pretty great but it chopped a bit. I probably chopped about 6 times throughout the day. I shot about a case. I have a cure 3 in the gun. I havent cleaned and lubed it yet because I dont have an pe grease or oil yet. Anything I can do to stop the chopping?

Are you sure your chopping? and not getting barrel breaks? If your chopping there will be paint on the bolt, the bolt will be clean if it was only barrel breaks. In the case of barrel breaks go up to a higher bore size barrel. If you chopping your gun probably needs to be lubed and maintained. Also what temperature was it because if the weather was on the cold side paint may have just been unusually brittle and you may have no problems at all

Chopping is usually caused buy a bad batch of paint. If it's not the paint it could be a low battery or your detents.

Annnddd don't forget to check the hopper too! If it was brittle paint your hopper may have broken it before it even got to the bolt.
