Having AppleCare is irrelevant, yes it voids your warranty, but only if you take the iPhone into apple in a jailbroken state.
Back up your iPhone before jailbreak, write the date and name of backup in your notes.
If you have any problems at all and need to take the iPhone in for replacement, restore from your back up file you made before the jailbreak. I've done it with every iPhone I've owned that had AppleCare, apple replaced the iPhone and never once mentioned a jailbreak.
Finally got BiteSMS back, not having the ability to reply to a text in an app almost made me go back to a 4S after I upgraded. Only the BigBoss version would work though, which was surprisingly free. Then I got an error a few minutes ago, after I did the "Exit Recovery" a box popped up saying I was given a trial version to use until 2/12/13. Hopefully be then the other packages will be usable on the 5
