That's fixed iTunes 21 error prolly need to try a different cable/computer

so picked up my 3rd iphone5 since launch today, got it the 3rd day of the launch and i've now experianced almost every problem imaginable on the 5

will most likely be switching over to Android with my next hardware upgrade, 5 has been complete garbage

Of anything I'd wait for the S4 or xphone. If you are switching over to android

i'll preface this by saying i dont paticularly like apple products but i've always loved my iphones, owned a 3G, 4, and 4S with absolutely no technical issues forcing me to exchange for a new phone

with my 5:

my launch 5 blew the speaker [the speakerphone speaker] and also had occasional issues with wifi as well the LTE execution on the Rogers network seemed very poor but this seems to be a constant issue with the 5 on Rogers

my 2nd 5 which i just returned, started with just the volume down button not working, then the slider for silent/ring mode stopped working, THEN about 2 weeks ago my phone litterally would not stop vibrating, it vibrated when i took steps, it vibrated from the bass from the system in my truck, sometime it would vibrate randomly sitting on my desk charing, when it was vibrating though it was showing the "ring/silent" icon that pops up when you would slide the slider so there was obviously a short/lose connection with the slider

Word, i haven't had a single issue with mine. Dropped it probably 40 times since I got it on launch. I actually dropped it in a puddle of water when getting out of my car, the entire bottom half was submerged without a case, and yet still no problems even two months after that happened.

Of course, I don't purposely try to find issues with my phone to give me a reason to switch to a different brand.

I only play with winterboard themes, and only download themes that do NOT come with widgets... unless I know the widget developer. Never had issues with battery issues, and I never have SB crashes. All you need is the basics of html, java scripting, and maybe css files. Another good skill is knowing photoshop. Most of the theme's that I post are all modified theme's. I hate posting stock theme's... LOL...

Things I installed to them:
Winterboard, Openssh, SBsettings for the ip to ssh, Iconoclasm, no page dots, iFile, appinfo, zeppelin, MyLocation.

On my computer: Putty and Filezilla

Anyone feel kind enough to post a step by step on what I need to do to restore my 5 and get it onto the latest jailbreak? If I restore is it going to get rid of all my tweaks and ****?

My steps is to backup my iPhone first in iTunes (computer and/or cloud). Then I restore to latest iOS as a new phone. Then I JB, launch and update Cydia. Then I restore my iPhone with last backup just for my email, SMS, address book, pictures, and password app. If not for that, I wouldn't restore from backup's since I don't have a lot of apps installed.

You will lose your tweaks and stuff you downloaded from Cydia, but you can back it up with PkgBackup before you restore to iOS 6.1.2. I don't install a lot of tweaks so I don't need to back mine up. It doesn't take long to install the things I need from Cydia.

I never had problems with my phone since ive gotten it *knocks on wood* dropped it dozens of times with the case (thank god), with my luck, without a case, the screen would be cracked to oblivion. Dropped my phone in the toilet, just quickly put it in rice, an hour later, it was fine.
The only problem i had was service.. but thats normal to me(other than the jailbreak issue) since ive had ****ty service since my blackberry and i have sprint.
