For those who own one, is the S6 worth it?

Currently have: Iphone 5.
Want to switch to android because of usual Apple BS and letdowns.
Like that Samsung finally made a premium-ish material phone.

Is it worth it? any bugs? Pros-cons?

Thanks in advance.

Samsung phones are usually rock solid. But honestly you really shouldn't go with any Samsung product... ever.

Why? Because their customer service is so horrendous that it makes Apple look like saints.

If I were to recommend a top end, premium android phone, it would be the Sony Xperia Z3.

It's a powerhouse of a phone with a wicked camera, stereo speakers and water resistant. It also comes with film protectors for the screen and back of the phone. If you own a PS4 you can remote play using the Z3 as well and pair a dualshock 4 controller for some pretty awesome gaming away from home.

There are some reports of the phone bending in people's pockets, just the same as the iPhone 6, but if you buy an Incipio dual case then it adds some bulk to the phone and just makes the phone that much more awesome.

If you wanted to go with a more budget friendly phone that can compete with the high end premium phones, you should also look at the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2. I had an Idol X prior to my Z3 and had very few complaints about it.

I have a Galaxy note 3, and my wife has a S5. Both were powerhouse phones in their prime, but both have HORRENDOUS GPS. If you require your phone to know that you are driving and not deep sea fishing in the ocean, than I wouldn't recommend a Samsung phone.

Huh. I still have a Galaxy Note 2, and my GPS is extremely accurate.

To the OP: I wouldn't get an S6, simply because it is no longer waterproof, has no SD card slot, and you can't remove the battery. All the excellent design in the world doesn't matter a lick, because the first thing everyone does is put their phone in a case. I'd buy a GS5, or a Note 4.
