The tylenol 3s did nothing. Good old advil did the trick though, thank you based ibuprofen. The pain for the first few hours after the freezing wore off was ****ed, now the hole where the tooth used to be doesn't hurt so much, but my jaw is so ****ing sore.

yeah man, a lot of the jaw pain is muscular from the painkiller injections. sometimes that's worse than the extraction, at least it becomes that way a day or so after the pulling. also f Tylenol, never seems to work for me. plus I like my liver

I've had 5 or 6 teeth yanked, plus the 4 wisdom teeth on top of that. thank goodness for modern dental medicine or I'd look like a horse. a british horse.

I still have all of my wisdom teeth in. Two are fully grown and the other two are just starting to come in. Still considering taking them out, but it may be a bit late... **** scares me now.

Tylenol won't touch it, now a days it's mostly used for headaches and to help bring down fevers that's it (unless you have liquid tylenol from the hospital, then that's a whole different ball game). I would say stick with advil the ibuprofen in it will help keep down the swelling which in large is mostly why you are in pain. The tissue trauma from the removal causes a massive amount of fluid to go to the site to help it heel but at the same time it causes pain... Ice and ibuprofen based pain relievers my friend.

I'm not talking out of my *** BTW, I'm a nurse.

Same with me. The military will pull them for free, but they don't cause me any pain, and aren't seriously crowding. While getting a couple of days off to be in a drug haze would be nice, people CONSTANTLY talk about how it sucks.

I do. I don't play it much these days, so yeah... it's doing just fine.

Pretty much my story (except I can't get them pulled for free). They're not causing any problems for me yet...

I think cavity incidence rates for wisdom teeth might be higher because they're harder to reach. you guys are lucky to not have impacted wisdom chompers

All 4 have cavities, and I'm pretty sure at least 2 are impacted, might be all 4.

Some times my mouth hurts a lot.

All 4 of my Wisdom teeth were impacted. 2 of them they said were "dangerously" so. Regardless, I never felt a thing and I healed super fast and easily when they took them out. No dry sockets for this boy.

Did pound a lot of Vicodin and play Geometry Wars for 14 hours straight during that time though.

Ugh, wisdom teeth removal sucked. Mine were a "routine removal" that left me with multiple infections and hallucinogenic fevers.

yowza, that's really unfortunate.

anybody else have them out while under nitrous rather than general anesthesia? i remember my blood pressure and heart rate were super high when i first got there because i was so nervous, but once they started the glorious flow of nitrous i started listening to music, and this:

came on, and i started chuckling and mumbling "...this is funny" while they were trying to prep my mouf.

So, I can't watch a youtube playlist I have on Chrome because of the feather beta. No idea how to get it to stop. I have a youtube ad blocker on Chrome that makes the music play better.

Playlist works fine on FF, though.
