Is yours a hatch? If so, I'd sell you my hitch. I don't think it fits straight onto the sedans.

Mine is an 05 Wrx "wagon" . Not the hatch like the 08 wrxs as seen in the fast and the furious 4 .
Would it Still work ? Also who makes them ? Links to a site
All I know is NJ salts the **** out of their roads . I bent a control arm in my elantra in HS due to corrosion from rock salt while stopping for a red light . I also replaced the radiation in my Wrx due to corrosion which made a leak in the bottom of it .

It's completely OEM. Some Saabs came with it, others didn't.
I believe I've heard one of the exhaust hangers is a bit shorter OEM on our cars because of it being there so you have to modify to make it fit. I can't speak for if this is true or not. But I know they've been sold to people with WRXs and STis before.

You have to consider that getting a beater isn't just purely for the monetary aspect. I picked up an old Outback that gets mediocre gas mileage so I could park the STI that gets crappy gas mileage. Just on gas alone, it's not worth it financially. The beater makes sense for me because I don't have to worry about door dings, salt and other damage you experience commuting. It also gives me a little breathing room with modding the STI since it's not my primary vehicle. Just things to consider.

This, also when you get a beater, get a really ****ty car (like sub 800) so that if it does break down light a match and walk away while it explodes.

i say you need a beater when you other car is a project/ "race" car. or a car you care about driving in the winter. My mustang never gets driven once roads have been salted. but also, i beat the crap out of it, and normally in some way shape or form, it is ready to be taken off the road come november.
also, i do drive it as my "daily" sometimes during nice days. but its obnoxious. i have race seats. harnesses. no ac. i cant drive by a car with its alarm set. parking garages at school i get yelled at. i have 400# front 325# rear coil overs so its like driving a brick. just not practical.
plus, *****es love audi's. so thats my daily.

Call a scrapyard, a lot of them will pick it and pay you for it. you won't get much but it takes a lot of the hassle out of trying to get rid of a car.

I know Ohio still does. All the salt I could take off my car would fill a dump truck.
And they still don't understand they don't need to dump more salt than snow is on the road before February ends. Come every year they ***** about a shortage in March or April when the last big snow hits.
