The only other three i can think of are:
The switch arm is bent beside the activation screw and not actually moving.
The trigger is set so that it stops before the switch activates. In other words it's set too short.
You broke the switch somehow.
Pull your grip rame off and try to activate the switch with your finger. See what happens.
