G4 - Shots have no power?
What would be the potential cause of G4 cycling, what appears to be, properly, but the shots having no power? Almost like first shot drop off, but every shot drop off. Battery is new, bolt has been re-lubed, tank has plenty of air.
Some help would be appreciated.

What is your regulator set to? Has it been serviced? How old is the marker?

Marker is 2 years old. Tried setting the reg a lot higher and a lot lower, no difference. Reg has been serviced about a year ago, but I've played with the gun twice since then.

Sounds like you may have a damaged reg or it needs to be relubed if adjusting makes no difference.
Have you serviced the solenoid? If not you could always try that.

Could it be the Hater Sauce in the reg? That's the lube I've used in the G4, including in the reg.

Yes, hater sauce can get very sticky and gum up after a period of non use if there is a lot of it
Sleek (Dow 33) or another silicone based lube is what I usually use when I service regs

And/or an improperly assembled reg. check the pressure adjuster screw, ball bearing and reg seat assembly inside the reg.

+1
whats your dwell set at?
as long as its a liberal amount of hater sauce, not icing on a cake, you"ll be fine.

Dwell is stock. Regular was assembled correctly, I believe, since it has worked fine until now. I'll see if re-lubing the regulator helps...

Regulator cleaned and re-lubed - issue persists. It seems the first shot is better than the consequent ones. Only thing I notice, and I am not sure if this is normal, is there's a small puff of air by the grip, towards the bolt, under that piece of the frame that sticks out the furthest in the back of the gun.

I've also seen if the fittings are screwed in too far in the ASA the gun can be starved for air as well

Clean your noid.
The puff should only be coming from around the trigger, not towards the rear of the frame

Look into your ASA, does your macro fitting go inside?

this also factory reset your board to default settings and try another brand new brand name battery like duracel or energizer

I've loosened the ASA fitting, and I think it helped. I'm going to play tomorrow, so I will chrono it at the field to know for sure.
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far, I will post an update tomorrow.

No luck.
Things I've done so far:
- Service the reg (relube/clean piston, spring)
- Relube the bolt
- Replace all 3 bolt o-rings
- New battery
- Service the solenoid (removed solenoid, wiped the area, wiped the solenoid, removed screw and spring, wiped down the solenoid, re-lubed with Dow 33)
- Loosened the ASA fitting
Really don't know what's going on here. Thinking of calling DP on Monday. Does anyone know how their out of warranty service goes?

This exact problem happened to you? I chrono'd my G4 at the field today, and it was outputting ~175 fps even if I cranked up the reg.
I looked at the solenoid piston and it seemed okay. I wiped it down and put some Dow 33 on it.
