You're not alone, though my situation was so I could start college at 15-16 instead of wasting time in high school.

The root of my comment was the town center is no longer a social gathering place. We no longer know everyone in our Towns, most people don't even know their neighbors. Community is no more. The public schooled child has an advantage in their government institution, they are given a community. Albeit a horrible one. Now, that doesn't mean a home schooled child won't socialize, the parents have to actually parent instead of letting a government institution do it for them.

First they passed Patriot Act to give themselves the right to monitor people without warrant. Then they enpower themselves with the NDAA to detain citizens for life without due process. To deal with the expected resistence from people, they created Sandy Hook shooting to take over the guns before they perform such law. Don't you realize it?

for the love of christ I hope your conspiracy theory is sarcasm. If so you forgot your obligatory dodgy

in seriousness though, registration doesn't lead to confiscation but it makes it a hell of a lot easier.

In the wonderful irrational world of Mass. the state knows how many guns and exactly what I have. Should the day come that they decide it's citizens no longer need guns they can go door to door with a check list and say yes we'll be taking your guns...wait wheres the other three? However should that day come We'll all be in deep and I doubt people will be calmly going door to door after the first day.

people who assume the .gov is out to get us are the problem. They aren't out to get us, but they aren't really out for us either. It's all about who's giving them the most money.

if you're a gun owner get together with other gun owners and discuss solutions to the Bull**** going on in our country right now. The second amendment is to protect the other ones. No one is realizing that the second amendment isn't the first one under attack.

tl;dr I like guns and you should too.

DOJ Memo: Outlaw and Confiscate All Guns

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com February 24, 2013

The National Rifle Association has obtained a Department of Justice memo calling for national gun registration and confiscation. The nine page “cursory summary” on current gun control initiatives was not officially released by the Obama administration.

The DOJ memo (downloadable here as a PDF) states the administration “believes that a gun ban will not work without mandatory gun confiscation,” according to the NRA, and thinks universal background checks “won’t work without requiring national gun registration.” Obama has yet to publicly support national registration or firearms confiscation, although the memo reveals his administration is moving in that direction.

The memo stands in stark contrast to the administration’s public stance on so-called gun control. White House spokesman Jay Carney said last month that laws proposed by Obama would not “take away a gun from a single law-abiding American.”

The NRA declined to explain how it obtained the document. The memo was written by the acting director of the Justice Department’s National Institute of Justice, Greg Ridgeway. It is dated January 4, two weeks before Obama mounted his attack on the Second Amendment following the Sandy Hook massacre. Ridgeway came to the Justice Department from the RAND corporation.

Did you read the memo provided? It doesn't say what the NRA claims, big surprise.

Interesting points, to bad no one here is smart enough to realize they do not know it all.

These guys more then likely think the dhs hoarding of weapons is normal as well, i mean why would they not need 7k FULLY AUTO weapons along with 2 billion rounds of ammo? Are they not fighting a war in iraq and afganistan?

oh yeah thats right, they are not. so why would DHS need war type weapons and enough ammo to put 3 shots into every man woman and childs dome in america?

Well to keep us safe dumb *****, what else?
