It can be a benefit to have a quiet gun in woodsball, not a huge one, but a benefit nonetheless. If you shoot a ton in the woods, it won't make that big of a difference.
But if you're like me, a player who shoots sparingly and only "opens up" when mass casualties are the likely outcome (
), a quiet gun can be put to devastating effect.
I get "complaints" all the time from people that they never knew what was coming. I've shot 10-15 round bursts at people from far away and they remained oblivious to the incoming paint/shots until it was far too late (try that with an Ego, lol). But my MQ'd Cocker is even quieter than a DM, so...
