Red Dot Paintball in conjunction with Dan Bonebreak and Warpaint Int. are bringing back the Pan Am hopper ball events that were so popular in the late 90's and early 2000's. This is a 5 man event with limited paint per person. First place in beginner and open divisions will be a cash payout (8 team minimum beginner, 10 team minimum open). Cool. I just don't see these new players making it with a hopper of paint with the new machine guns they shoot. We use to shoot mostly mech guns like our cockers .time to break out the revi hoppers and turn your denounce off.lol good to hear this. Will they have any events in oregon? I may play one. I miss the old days without pop mode.it brings the skill back.

Pan Am 2013 Basic Info June 1st 2013, to be held at Red Dot Paintball, Richland WA
5 man format, hopper ball
5 minute games, center flag
100 points per game

Beginner and Open divisions (no pro players)
Beginner Entry - $200 (includes rental if needed)
Open Entry - $250

Beginner 1st place - $800
Open 1st place - $1250
Second and third place for each division will be trophys and other prizes to be determined.

All games will be played on our regulation size turf field using PSP style bunkers.
Each player will be allowed to bring a maximum of 200 rounds per game onto the field. 100 round pods will be available for purchase at the event if needed. Normal capacity standard hoppers will be allowed, no extended capacity lids, no Pinocchio hoppers. RDP reserves the right to reject any hopper that may be able to hold more than 200 rounds.

I hear that. I have missed these events over the last 10+ years and finally decided to offer this format again.
For those who havent ever played them...good times and good competition for very little out of pocket cost.
