After a relatively successful first event at Battle Creek back in January, we have decided upon the date for out next game!
Texas, 1836. Mexican troops in the Texas territory retreat after having surrendered at the town of San Antonio de Bexar. Having achieved victory over the Mexican defensive troops, most of the Texian army disperses and returns home. Mexican President Santa Anna raises an army to enter the rebellious province of Texas, and crush the revolution. Volunteers from the United States enter Texas and join the Texian Army while Santa Anna heads towards San Antonio, the political heart of Texas.
The Texian garrison in San Antonio was taken by surprise as the Mexican army was spotted outside of the town. The Texians in San Antonio pull into the Alamo and prepare for a siege which would last 13 days. It is the 13th day of the siege. While General Sam Houston gathers his army to march to relieve the Alamo, General Santa Anna readies to end the siege and then march on the rest of the Texan Army.
