Thanks, but you guys aren't making it easy picking the color scheme. But I might end up using both. One on this project and the other on the up'd Vibe.

How much room do you have to run hosing with the board being mounted the way it is?

This Vibe isn't going to have a board. Straight mech with QEV and Lucky fitting. I'll try to take a pic of it tonight of the setup. I might do the Punisher version to the other Vibe with the Blackheart and eyes.

I got the Lucky fittings from Deathwish, he's got a ton of them and they are pretty cheap.

Hey Punisher, where did you find those threaded bushing screws? I can not find any.

Also gotta give Punisher credit on this build. If I didn't see your build on MCB, I wouldn't have thought of doing this project. So a thanks is in order.

Thanks for the credit,I wasn't the 1st one to do this, just did a big writeup.
Using the Lucky fittings definitely made these mods easier
The bushings I got from my local ACE hardware, they're often around the tinners and spacers. If you can't find any get me a size you want and I'll mail you some.
Wait till you hit the field with your Vibe, you'll blow a few minds for sure
Thanks for the link to the fittings also,I couldn't find them anywhere

I'll try ACE some time today and see if they have any of those threaded bushings.

@ Dedloc, trade my up'd Vibe and $100 for your DP G5? It's got a Freak barrel.......

Well, I went to ACE and got the screws and bushings. Only thing is the bushings are to wide, off to ACE again tomorrow. Anyways, I did get it put together and aired it up. Guess what? It has a couple small leaks. One by the reg and I think the other is by the trigger valve. Anyways, I'll try some lock tight on it. Which one should I get?

Here's a few pics of it:

Green loctite is med/heavy strength and will wick into preassembled parts, I used it on my build, anything you want take apart forbmaintenrnce you can use blue loctite,it's medium strength.I NEVER use red,it's nearly impossible to take stuff apart once you use it unless you torch or boil the parts.
My leaks I had at first were from the small setscrews on the side of the mount.Looks cleaner than my 1st try so far, nice work
Just noticed you're from Norcal and live in Goodyear AZ,my little sis lives there, small world

Thanks for the advice on the Locktite. I'll try the medium strength one. I think it might be the set screws too. The trigger valve might be pushed open too. As for the NorCal part, I grew up in Vallejo and Fairfield area. It's about an hour north of San Francisco. Man do I miss the beautiful weather from over there.

@ Dedloc: Thanks

Well, I got the leaks from the Relay taken care off but my QEV was leaking like crazy. Replaced it with a stock banjo and took care of that leak. Are there rebuild kits for the SP QEV? I'll need one. Other than that it's looking good. Also need to work on the grip screw holes.

Oring-online.net has 360 QEV oring kits for sale on Ebay. I'll have to check them out.

Once it's up and running, I'll chrono it at a local field.

I would stick with the regular low-force anti-chop bolt in it if you havent decided on that already.
