Which do you receive emails from or prefer for last minute discounts: Groupon or Living Social? Or is there a different company you use?

I've used both. From a user's standpoint, I don't have any preference. Both have saved me money and are effectively the same thing.

i don't use anything like that.

i know groupon was involved with the class action lawsuit against them, but supposedly settled by now for like $8.5 million. There are plenty of horror stories against them.

Living Social also has problems too.

just google groupon horror stories. and same for living social.

not sure what psp has planned with either of them, but from our experience it wasn't good. And just disclaimer: my company is a backend supplier to people who use them/or have tried to to setup different things and I've never dealt directly with either company but encourage our clients to look for other avenues.

I don't have a brand preference either. However, I have been burned a few times where the promotional value expired before I got to use it. At this point, I rarely buy unless it's something I'm almost certain to use, like a voucher for a restaurant that I've been to.
