Is it ok to use tri flow oil to fix a macroline leak on a shocker?

Is it leaking from the hose or fitting. Either way put the oil away. Get a new piece of hose or a new fitting and replace. Or some pipe thread compound if it is leaking near the threads or the fitting. Take out the fitting, clean the threads on both the fitting and the reg or asa, put some compound on the fitting thread, dont need alot. Reinstall.

If it's leaking from the fitting where the hose goes in you can try 1 of 2 things, put DOW 55 on the outside of the hose and put it back in and see if that swells the oring enough to seal or buy a new piece of hose (the cheaper of the two if you don't already have DOW 55), if neither of those work then it's time for a new oring in the fitting at which point I'd say to just replace the fitting.

actually replacing the oring in the fitting is SUPER easy. get a flat blade screwdriver and put the end in between the body and collet ring. Rotate the screwdriver to force the collet out of the fitting. replace the oring with a -010 oring of your choosing, and press the collet back in. Bam, you have a refurbished fitting!

I always break the collet but I guess with right tools it's easier

flat blade screwdriver and twist pops right off everytime. then take that small screwdriver and or a small pick and pull that o ring out. clean out fitting with alcohol soaked q tips. clean o rings. relube with dow33 / hater / basically anything. dont use 55 it isnt what you want going into a solenoid as it swells o rings.
