I'm curious... Is foXball going to use the reverted 150' field length that the PSP is using this season?

Yes - we'll be "Shrinking" the field to the 150 x 120 dimension like the PSP is doing. As JMac points out - this will give us a little more room for reffing - not only in the snake corner, but all around the field.

ITS not narrower its shorter...back to the way it was 3 years ago...almost square

most likely harder (not saying much harder) because your lanes dont need to go as far.

i would agree it is harder to make corners and easier to lane...because being closer to your opponent to start the point..1) the paint isnt dipping as much 2) the angle to the corner is more wide open, despite the addition of bunkers.

I found once the field was made longer, longer runs (corner or elsewhere) were much easier to make.

Bmoney - actually, my understanding is that the width of the field will go from 125 feet to 120 and the length will go from 170 to 150.

So i believe the field width is shrinking. Not by much, but 5 feet is a lot when you're talking about no out of bounds at our field now.

ahhhh I thought the width was always 120.....but your right...the blocks were 10 x 12.5 thus making it 125...memory getting worse as I get older

The corners should technically be harder to make off the break but at the FoXBall level, you probably won't notice too much of a difference.

but again i was sort of right...they WERE 12.5 feet x 10 and then the last one was only 10x10 I think...thus making it 120? idk...who cares!!

From what I remember, that 12.5x10ft thing came from one of the PHX events a few years back when they had to shrink the width of the fields to fit them all at the venue.

I'm glad people suck at laning. It makes it easy for my slow self to do dumb runs. I really wish they kept the field size though. I liked it.
