It always seems like the North American teams that play Millenium just do it for fun and don't take it entirely seriously. Considering that it takes up a number of weekends of their time (costing them practice time for the league(s) they really care about), why do it?
GI Sportz previously had Damage playing in the Millenium series, until they got sick of it and quit. Now they have Heat playing there.
Is it just because GI wants a North American team to represent them in Europe for some reason?
I am curious to see how they'll do without their Russian players, though.

I don't know much about Art Chaos but it may be one team that also has barrels of cash.
They pulled Bear and K-fed off SK Moscow a few years ago and they had a real decent paycheck from the railroad.

I've heard the three Russian Heat players won't all be playing together on Art Chaos. One is splitting off for another new Russian Pro team.

I honestly don't know, but you have to admit most of us would field all three of those guys even if we could only pick 7 of Heat's top players...

Will be interesting to see Heat and AC face off.
Though, I hope Heat goes and buys a MS field to practice on a bit, or they are gonna get whooped.... the days are past where US teams can go to Europe sans practice and tear up everyone..... these days the top 5-6 team are pretty good.
Oh - and PLEASE read the roster rules

Are there any Millennium fields here in the States? Did Dynasty ever have one to practice on?
Apparently rosters are still very much up in the air. I got this from HybridFoto today:

I imagine there's very few fields in the US with Millenium bunkers. I'd love to play on a Millenium layout sometime, just to see what the M is like.

Probably not.
Adrenaline Games should make PSP to MS conversion kits (and vice versa).... it's not that many bunkers that needs changing, so there would be no need for a full field..... and I could see many fields both sides of the Atlantic, wanting the option to set up a PSP or MS field, just for kicks.
Anyway, my point was Heat should buy a field to practice on..... to not end up like Damage did in Europe..... it makes a heck of a difference to be able to practice on the field before the event.

I am sure they will buy one or practice somewhere where one is at.

I'm sure there will be a line of Houston Heat players playing CXBL since theres a team with the exact same logo called Montreal Heat. G.I. and/or BuyPBL will flip the bill like they did last year for the cowboys?
