hopper for blitz
So I bought my blitz a few weeks ago off craigslist in a bundle deal. It came with the blitz in the original box, CO2 tank, JJ ceramic barrel, and a view loader hopper. I've already bought me an hpa tank, and an ASA, but now I'm concentrating on getting a new hopper. So my question is which would be my best option for the blitz or would the view loader do fine??

vmax. $60 and it'll keep up, pretty reliable. No need for anything like a rotor or spire on a blitz, save that money for paint.

Or you could grab a used Halo, feeds better than the Vmax. Vmax's paddles a too soft and bend in a jam and it stops feeding properly.

If you ever do find yourself in a jam, which almost never happens, one push of the button and she's good.

Or a Halo and not worry about it jamming. Or you could get a Pinokio prop and put it in the Vmax and it will feed better. Or for the same price get a Halo new for $73.95 + shipping. It's worth it.

Its all personal preference, and this all depends if you actually want to spend $65+ on a hopper. If not look at a tippmann ssl-200

Vmax
I'd have to agree. The Vmax is gonna be your best bet because the Blitz doesn't shoot super fast. I'm also speaking from experience because it was my first setup. I spent more money a Halo for my Blitz and it was a waste of money. I bought a Vmax with the money I got back from the Halo and it was a perfect match. The two are literally meant for each other. And also, don't listen to the guy saying the Vmax jams. The one I have now doesn't ever jam. And yes, if it does just so happen to jam, it's a one touch fix-it. Hope this helps a little bit!

Thanks, I think I saw a Vmax up for grabs on the F/S Hopper section in this forum.

Or instead of a one touch fix you can just have a loader that won't jam. If you do get the Vmax, get Pinokio paddles so it'll feed more consistently.

watch this video and choose one. skip to 13 mins to see how crappy the vmax really is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY0oX2yIoVw
I tried to cheap out and purchased an empire overdrive loader. I know have to sell it so i can get a pinokio. the overdrive loader is supposed to do 9 balls a sec and the vmax only does 11. spend the cash!

vmax bash video, sure rotors n pinokios are better...faster whatever than the vmax but they are also 2x & 3x the price, unnecessary for a blitz

Exactly what I'm saying. He's buying my Vmax though guys. And word to wise, don't put a Pinokio paddles on it. It'll burn out the Vmax's motor! I had three friends who did that and the same thing happened to all three. Yes it works much better, but it doesn't last for a long time.

I wonder why Valken is selling them new for $100 but ANS is selling them for $60. Because they suck and no one is buying them.

They're not meant for speedball. They're not meant for mechanical markers... They're meant specifically for low end electros such as the Blitz. Not a whole lot of people own low ends, so not a whole lot of people buy them. Most kids get their mommy n daddy to buy them a rotor.

A Halo would still be much better regardless. It's consistent and reliable. It doesn't matter what the Vmax was designed for because it's crap. Just because a Halo feeds faster than the Blitz can shoot doesn't mean he shouldn't get one. All that means is that there is very little chance that he will shoot inconsistently and have regrets of buying a loader that still isn't worth the $60 it costs.

I'm not selling it to him for $60. I'm cutting him a break. He seems like a nice guy and I want to help him out and not bend him over on the price. Yes, I agree the Halo is better. But why would you spend more money on a loader you're not going to get the full potential out of?

^exactly, hes a new player, shooting a used entry level, like everyone else did, let him get a little better, decide if he wants to stay or go before he spends 100+ on just a loader.

^ thank you. sadly guys, i already received payment from another guy so unfortunately i will not be selling my loader to this guy. still, i hope he finds a nice deal on a good used vmax or halo. both great loaders, the vmax is just more for beginners or low end markers, which is perfect in his case.

I have this same setup, my only ***** about the V-max is it sucks to clean when you chop a ball, and the profile is a bit tall, but pairs well with the Blitz.

Ok thanks a lot on this topic, I do have my eyes set on either a VMax or a halo. Only question now is which halo is better paired with my blitz??
