My geo can start out in the morning sounding as quiet as a luxe or a clone gt. as the day goes by it gets louder and louder till its as loud as my friends ego9. We have another kid on the team who's geo only has 3 cases through it and is quiet the hole day. The maint is done the same way because I thought him what to do and we both follow the jack wood video on YouTube for the lube of the bolt assmy. It's kinda of aggravating as I can't pin point it. Gun shoots fine just wonder why it gets louder through out the day. Settings on both guns stock except sfrs which are both all the way down. Same barrels hoppers and tanks.

Put more lube than jack puts and try that first which bolt do you have in your gun?
Edit: try completely rebuilding your bolt kit

Got the soft bolt we both do. In the morning when it's was 30 out shot great with the sfr all the way down stock solenoid. Sounded like my luxe used to.

My experience is that the soft bolt is generally louder then the ST2. Try chronoing the gun thruout the day as louder sound would on some occasion mean higher reg pressure.

Ya we tried the crono with both guns in the high 280s. I mean its kinda sad when you do a drill where people start in the bunkers trying to find each other and they can hear where about on the field you are when the gun goes off. I hope it just breaks in after a few more cases or it will be the back up the the gt. also noticed that the hpr reg piston o ring had almost no lube when I cleaned it that night. Retuned so hopefully that will help next time.
