I had a luxe 2.0..... I didnt like the feel of it in my hands... However, shot quality, smoothness, sound, looks. Hands down luxe. But, just wasn't comfortable for me, I wish it was but it wasn't.
Haven't gotten my hands on a geo 3 for that long yet. But, I had a 2.1, apparently the geo 3 is only a little bigger in the hands than the 2.1. Which, if that is true, IMHO would be perfect for me. I didnt get that much time with it to really notice. I think I fired off like 5 paintballs. Thus making me choose the geo 3 over the luxe due to just size/feel. Well, in all honesty, I will, as a geo 3 is next on my list to purchase. I won't buy another luxe because I just didnt like the feel in my hands
Oh and maintenance.... if you can't maintain a luxe.. you dont need to be purchasing one. If you can read basic instructions, no marker should be hard for anyone to maintain. If you can't take the time to read a manual you shouldn't be purchasing a high end marker. A lot of people think too far into maintenance. You either have the guys that over maintain, dont maintain, or just tinker and dont know wtf they're doing. Sorry but I hate when some people throw a marker down because of "maintenance"
One thing that you will notice are the luxe fan boi's that believe the marker was sculpted by the hands of god
