depends on the day kinda, hell some days i like running a normal prophecy or rotor just for the ease of it.
but usually i run a 100 rd sport shot because the .50's get to be a pain with jamming but that's mainly if you don't have a winchester or something like that. the GxG pocket hoppers can be a pain

Go with that you will love it. Just did my mod and it turned out great very easy too. The APP 50 is great, feeds nice and is really durable. You can pick one up for around 10$ off paintballgateway including shipping and tax if u switch to usps priority shipping. Good deal and is about the same as a sportshop

Sport shots for me, it goes well with 100 round pods.

Its all personal preference in the end. For me i loved the feeling of being even more conservative with 50. I use less paint and actually reload on the field from time to time. With 100 rd hoppers i wouldnt see the need in taking out pods, i wouldnt be reloading very often. I see why people run 10rd tubes, the adrenaline rush seems to increase when the paint is more limited.
With that said just see what you would like more, maybe try both in all its like 20$ investment at the most

Ive seen it moded into the pod lids used on 50rd hoppers. If ur a guy who absolutely needs the speedfeed just go with the sportshot and throw any universal or halo type speedfeed on there and ur set. Otherwise go with the app50 w/ locklid mine, you will love it!

I got both, tend to run 50 rd when it is a slow rec ball day and 100 rd when I am playing against all electros on airball

I've got a sportshot (w/ exalt speedfeed, cuz i planned on using it with mechs, too), and a winchester w/ dye lid (not locklid, lid & collar from old dye pod). I have yet to personally use the sportshot, regardless of the situation. The winchester is just really really nice.

I usually use my Revy on my pump. But when I don't, I usually use a 100rd hopper. I use my 50rd sometimes, but it jams up more often.

I use a WGP ammo box on my SL68 and I like it alot. Holds about 40 balls and has 2 fingers molded into the opening for a speedfeed from 10 rd tubes. I don't think I ever misfed or had any jams with it. The size of the feed tube is too small for most feednecks.

100rnd sport shot: Pros, you can play hopper ball with it for most rec games. No need to carry pods which gives you a lighter overall set up and hopefully helps you move a bit better. It is no bigger than any other normal hopper/loader out there but it still has a fair size to it. Not that it matters much if you are playing correctly.
50rnd hopper: Personally I like the APP ones, but the Winchester works well too. I reloaded them with 3 10rnd tubes taped together. This let me reload while I still had some paint left in the hopper and not have to have a half full pod rattling around... For rec play, 50rnds is a lot but having a reload is a good idea.
DIY 30rnd pods
I will also add the stick feed into the mix just for fun. This is how I now play with any of my guns. SC, OC, Semi... It is LOTS of fun! 10rnds at a time is often sufficient for anything but the most extreme firefights I have found my self in. Reloads are fast with 10rnd tubes, they NEVER jam, and they feed at about 11bps so you will never out gun it with an A/T.

I personally think that 50 is the best.Do to it is not bulky,it is not stick fed which sticks straight up and annoys me.But it is all personal prefrence more than anything.

I use a Sport shot 100rnd. A 100 balls is plenty for almost anything I play. It is still very light and if I need to carry some extra paint a 100 (or 140 with a sponge in the bottom so it will hold 100 rnds, what i use) pod will fit in any harness.
Since it is gravity feed, loading it 75% means you wont have to shake and bake it.
