No it won't! That is beyond bead blasting. It may help even it out a little but the pitting on that thing is a lot deeper than any bead blast will be. I have never seen paint do that to a gun. I have seen some nasty mold do something similar.
I don't think we are getting the entire story as to what happened to this gun. I've seen guns that went through house fires that look better off than that. I want more detail. As was asked before, how do the internal surfaces of the gun look?
