Hey guys, just curious what's a really good sub-$50 barrel for my Invert Mini. And yes, that $50 can be a used barrel, as long as it's 9/10+ condition.

I've owned only J&J Ceramics for my 98c's, but this is my first speedball gun, and curious what you guys run?

Like which brand, material, and inch?

A used Dye UL. You can get them cheap, and I'd suggest either a 14" or a 16". I personally play with a 16" Dye (when I use it), but I just happen to prefer it.

Me again. I use the stock barrel with an ifit kit. All barrels shoot the same accuracy. It comes down to efficiency, by under boring or over boring. The other factor is weight. I caved and just received my first carbon fiber barrel, deadly winds w/ a freak kit, in the mail today. It's literally night and day for the weight if this barrel.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'll prolly stick with a $20 J&J 14" I found. Then eventually go with Deadly Winds or a something that is carbon. Thanks again!

Well guys I have two possible barrels.

Which would you get?

Choice 1: Empire Carbon Fiber Night Stick 14" ($25 shipped) Perfect condition
Choice 2: J&J Ceramic 14" ($20 shipped) 8/10 condition

Which would be the best overall?

If you are going to end up getting the deadlywind or another barrel that is carbon fiber or has inserts you might as well get it now. Use ur stock and save up, u can get a full kit with the DW for 150 on paintballgateway otherwise its like 90~ with an insert, or look in BST

Well... I'll just keep my stock one for a month or two. So are the inserts really worth it? Just curious.. I've never used them. Just seems like a hassle, but maybe worth it.

shadow paintball makes amazing barrels for about 70% of the cost of anything else, i sold my DW after i got mine.

Just do it right the first time. No need to waste money on anything else unless your going to get a full barrel kit.

Stick with stock until you can afford a full barrel kit. They range all over the place but most would recommend a Deadly Winds kit.
