Food and tents
What's the rule on tents, not for camping, more for shade and staging? I read that tables are provided but get filled quick. Can I pop a tent near my car?
Last question...
Can I bring a grill?

Grill is ok. Tent is ok.
If you put it by your car, you have to make sure that it does not block the aisle. You also have to secure it so it does not fly away. If you are on the asphalt parking lot, you obviously cannot use stakes. We do have a lot of picnic tables and they do get used up pretty darn quick.

Yep, lots of grassy areas to toss a tent. I got a great spot right near the parking lot last year.

Rather than creating a new thread, I'll just ask here.
As far as "campground"/parking lot transportation goes, what's allowed? Bikes, golf carts, mini bikes, quads, etc

No quads or anything please. It is an issue due to insurance and being a hazard since there are so many people at the event.

Jetpacks are disallowed too.
Ironman suits require clearance from the FAA.

Any beer pong tournaments? Any alcohol restrictions at all?

Joliet Syndicate D4 is making a beer pong table for the event and you can bring your own. Alcohol is fine as long as you are of legal age. We also will be selling beer too.
Now that I have said that, we will have security on site, which are all police officers or retired police officers. They will be checking ID's. It is generally very hot at LL and alcohol dehydrates you. So drink responsibly.

As much as I love a good beer, between the event itself and a lengthy drive home, it's going to be mostly water for this guy.
