I became a GT owner this last weekend, The gun shoots great but I had a isse and wanted to see if it was just me first. The gun seems to be turning off during the middle of games, it works on some and others it turns off right after the break. Is this just me turning the gun off on accident, or could it be a issue with something inside of the gun?

Likely your battery is briefly losing contact with one of the prongs on the board. Try a different brand of battery first and see if that helps...different brands of 9v's do run different sizes. If that doesn't help see if one of the prongs is bent back a bit. If so, you could try bending it down a small bit so the battery is making more solid contact. Be careful doing this though as you don't want to break the prong. Lastly, you could put a small shim under the battery to have it put a little more pressure on the prongs but you shouldn't have to do this.
