I've decided it never sees any field time so it might be time to sell it. I bought the marker from the original owner who took it out once a year to shoot it for the first few years of its life, had kids and stopped playing. I have never taken it to the field, but I did change all the seals, contacted Palmers and updated the internals a little, polished up the hammer a little. Otherwise the marker is totally stock, and works fine. I think it under chrono's a tad last time I shot it. A new spring will fix that no problem. The brass has the original finish on it, the safety works the stocks in great shape, the action on the bolt is smooth and fast, all said and done I was lucky to find one in this great of condition.

Asking Price = $800. I've seen them cheaper but not this good looking.

I think my price is pretty reasonable. I do see these come up from time to time as cheap at $500 but I've seen them sell for as much as $1000. This marker is in really great condition and I think I'm asking a pretty fair price for it.

I'd agree the price is reasonable.
But it would be difficult for me to justify adding another one to the collection.
Otherwise I'd jump on it.

Of course ~ "I want it" is sometimes justification in itself.

Thanks. I'll through in my old PGP with the purchase as well, I'll post up some picks of that marker when I get around to it, it too has palmer internals and a aluminum pump handle, brass is polished a bit original owner painted it so I tried to save it.

It would be hard to find something that I actually want. I don't have room for vintage markers that I don't intend to use and I already have a few high ends that I use regularly, your welcome to offer something but it has to at least meet or exceed my asking price.
