Engineering questions about custom marker

Hey all, have some technical questions and hope I can get an answer. I am in the process of making my own marker using some existing parts I had laying around. I am going for a bullpup style (regulator behind gripframe) and have a some questions regarding how-to.

Just a little eye candy:

Here a message I recently sent to Custom Products because I thought about using their ASA and regulator for the marker; I'll quote it here in hopes of getting some answer, I know this forum has a lot of knowledge.

To whom it may concern:

I am a non-incorporated engineer/machinist that is in the process of building my own paintball marker and am considering using your products for it. I have several questions regarding several of your parts that I would like to adapt to this marker and would appreciate it if you could answer them. If you could forward this to the right person (I'm assuming this is the sales department) I would really appreciate it. Here is what I got:

1) CP Gen 3 Inline Regulator
1a) What psi range is this designed to work at and how to adjust?
1b) Where is the psi adjuster (bottom/side) and where is the macro line fitting located (bottom/side)?
1c) What is the overall length?
1d) What type of male threads are being used for this (listed in ASTM F1750-05)?

2) 2000k-5000k PSI On/Off ASA
2a) Is there macroline fittings located on both sides (the photo shown looks as if there is only a hole on the viewing side)?

Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

there are 2 different versions a long and short CP reg, adjuster is on the side, inlet air line is on the bottom, thread are standard 1/8 npt inlet, standard ASA threads on top of reg and CP on /off asas that also have outlet ports on both sides
I've had dropoff issues with CP regs on my Ion projects in full ramp mode(20+bps),check out Axe\Mini regs for a combo ASA and reg, also recommened AKA Sidewinder or 2 liter for projects,no dropoff even with double gun setups

Whoa... I'm a little out of the loop. I'm looking at this (which I think is what you are talking about)...

Are you saying this is a regulator and ASA? if so, questions:

By using this I do not need a standard inline regulator? How to mount on standard dovetail? How to adjust and how is air coming out?

You perked my interest.

Yes it is a low pressure reg and On\off asa,get version 3 if you can.Its adjusted in the front with a allen wrench,on/off is a small lever on the botton of the reg. It is a primary reg so you wouldnt need a secondary,I cant speak for dropoff at high ROF as mine isnt finished yet
There isnt an easy way to mount it to a dovetail, mine came with an adapter for a TM7 marker I will fit in an Ion with machining, got the idea from member deallans thread here

I'll get measurements of my CP reg(shorty),mounting plate for above reg also if youd like, interested in your project as Ive been trying to do a Bullpup boxmag Ion for awhile
