Tippmann Alpha Black Elite vs Project Salvo

Hey everyone...

I'm looking for a comparison between the Alpha Black (Bravo One) Elite & the Project Salvo (Sierra One).

With the new shroud and rails on the AB Elite, is it closer to the PS? Does it negate the extra cost of the PS?

Thx.

Look into the gog enmey It will be smoother quieter and more gentle on paint.
And a ton lighter. But it doesn't have the crazy looks of a real gun

Internally they both have the same outdated blowback design. Check out the Smart Parts SP-1 if you want a tactical marker. Just a heads up though, rail attachments (other than maybe a camera) are completely useless.

And HOW exactly does it do that? They are the EXACT SAME internally.

Agreed. Get whichever you think is better looking, or cheaper. Internally, they're the same marker, and so performance will be, quite literally, identical.

I'm looking for a MilSim marker so the Enmey just doesn't cut it.

Unfortunately, the Smart Parts SP-1 isn't available in South Africa. Yes, you heard right, the @ss end of the world.

The Salvo looks great and the new tan color scheme is also very cool but if the AB & Salvo are identical as far as performance, then I'll probably go for the AB as it's cheaper than the Salvo. The AB is apparently also a bit lighter.

I was just wondering if the AB Elite has any particular updates over the AB Tactical (other than cosmetic) that pushes it beyond the Salvo in performance. I haven't heard of any updates to the Salvo.

I believe ANS delivers to South Africa. They sell both the SP1 (no longer manufactured) and the newer version, the GOG G1.

It may not be available to South Africa due to the shooting modes. Some countries do not allow paintball guns that fire in burst/auto/ramping modes, not because they dont ship there.

Ah, interesting. My apologies. Maybe if they have an original SP1.

If the firing modes are the issue the SP-1 still has burst and full auto modes.

I believe the first ones didn't have those modes. Just semi.
