I'm gonna have to go with Dye. Their guns always shoot great and you can always know what to expect from them. Their dm line is also one of the cheaper high end spools now.
Their other gear might be over-priced (clothes, etc.) but you know it's always going to be quality.

I will say Bob Long markers. Great Quality and value. Great customer service. Also made in America. Even old marker made by bob long can keep up with todays markers.

In my opinion, Planet Eclipse. Obviously not everybody needs tools, lube, and a full manual with their gun, but not everybody has owned 20, 15, 10, or in come cases even 4 markers before they buy a high end. PE makes a great marker for someone to break into the high end market where Bob Long markers require quite a bit of prior knowledge that might lead to them getting destroyed by a new owner.
I'd say Dye, but they've basically been the same since the DM11...

I won't argue you on that, but there's really not a whole lot they can do with the platform to make it much better. Aside from improving the board, I don't know what else needs to be done with the marker. The DM platform has been around since 2003, whereas the geo platform has been around since 2009 I believe. I think Dye gets a lot of hate for not many changes just because they have a yearly release. Not many companies do that anymore.
Dye has made tons of changes over the years but it's gotten to the point where there's not much else they can change without making it a completely different marker. You also have to realize that from 2009-10 and from 2012-13 there were the fewest changes because they were developing an entirely new marker (NT and DAM).

CCM (if you're into pump) can't be beat. They have amazing service, and although I've yet to own one, from what I've felt/shot their marker quality is almost unparalleled

CCI: Mike Cassady has been making Phantoms since what, 89? Along with AGD and Bob Long its truly an American classic and theres a reason so many Phantoms are sill used today even with all the new tech available.

I went with Bob Long. I'm fairly new to the sport and have been acquiring markers pretty fast but I haven't shot anything I like as much as my 2011 G6R. The thing just shoots right every time. I have had no trouble dailing it in and like I said I'm fairly new to the sport.

Wow people really like PE. I have only shot an Etek and it chopped paint like crazy. Did I just try a lemon? what am I missing with PE?

It was my paint, crusade and stock barrel but it was a rental gun and pretty dirty but I mean every 5th ball was breaking. Maybe they had the eyes off or something. Will the eyes stay off after you power on/off?

Planet eclipse has the most solid markers right out of the box(ego/geo).. once you pass break in then just mess with a few settings and it will out shoot almost every gun on the market.

Macdev, I talked to their customer support and they agreed that modding a drone dx (quad mod) is a good idea and it will make the gun better. (Oh an it doesn't void the warranty!) Also I like their guns, they seems to be the most well balanced of the marker brands. I've been hearing of people shooting more than 9 pods out of a drone dx, as far as I know that's more than most markers.(oh on a normal 68/45 tank)

PE all the way for me. Their markers have been for me the most reliable and consistent that I have ever owned not to mention the most durable. In terms of other gear I love their jerseys, pants etc. Customer service has been phenomenal as well with quick, reliable and knowledgeable sale ad service representatives. If I had to pick a top 3, the next would be DYE, again for similar reasons as PE but with less reliable support in my experience. In third, Empire for their great, durable products at some of the best prices around.
