On my ND it looks like this (no windows)



when did they change it? Is the first one from ZDS a preproduction one?

i dont think he did, cause when i first saw the ND shocker many years back it looked exactly like this

are you sure it wasn't a prototype? not trying to hate but originally they planned on releasing the shocker without the sllen key hole in the bolt guide and giving you a tool that fit in the smart parts logo allowing you to undo the guide but latter scrapped that idea, but you can still see it when you look at and SFT shocker box...

Its more than likely a prototype in that pic but could also could be an early model that SP changed later on to reduce cost with simpler milling.

For example on kool_aids RL nxt you can clearly see his snatch grip detaches with a small piece of the frame where my RL nxt does not my snatch grip does not come off with a piece of the frame.

those regs were done in the first run of nd shockers then was changed

I've owned both kinds. Nothing special, just two different design's.

I've had both reg designs. I believe the two piece sleeve type was the early version. And to cut cost they came out with the one piece reg body later.
