My friend does some side work type deal for an audi shop so will get the parts from him for a couple hundred. Then my other friend has offered to "help" me do the work. I explained to him that this means do all the work while I get in the way and he did not care. So all in a couple hundred depending if I just get oem rotors/pads or if I upgrade anything while I am at it. The dealer wanted like 700 something but I don't think that was all brakes I think they also wanted to do an alignment and maybe something else.

I would love to see what the dealer would cost for rotors, pads and installation. Humor me and get a quote.

I've got the quote somewhere, its just for fronts. I'll look in my car for it when I pick it up from its bath.

Car has 37k on it now. Does seem a bit early. My lightning needed brakes somewhere around this point I believe, but my M5 never needed them (thank god, those ****ers were like 2 grand worth of just parts)

Why do you think you need pads and rotors?

What is it with BMW brakes? My now wrecked m roadster never needed brakes and rotors after 130K. Friend's 330 had over 100K on the original brakes too. Your Audi might just eat up front brakes due to a very nose heavy car.

They said I would need them soon. I don't think I need them immediately, just budgeting for when I do. I think the rotors can be re-surfaced but then the car would have to be down that much longer while they rotors are taken to be machined. I think it would be easier to just do rotors at the same time.

Its possible. Also done some sort of aggressive driving on very curvy roads = lots of braking?

My most libtard stance is legalize marijuana. I don't want to be around those losers smoking it in public but let them smoke in their homes it's not hurting anything and would be a new stream of tax revenue.

I've been afraid to even drive my saab. I've been taking the jeep this past week. The m roadster was autoxed frequently in the past few years.

Agree. Plus they spend so much money trying to stop it and I think it creates a criminal underworld to distribute it. Just sell it in stores and tax it, save money on the war on drugs, huge net financial gain.

i feel that hardcore narcotics should just be summary execution for dealers if they wanted to really deal with the problem, instead it's a revolving door

Hence why we have different opinions on religion, and partially why I've strayed from religion.

Yeah true, the stability control of it is pretty damn good. It keeps my friend's absurd car inline. I'm actually almost at the point where I can buy one without financing once i get my insurance check. Seeing 20+K flying out of my account all at once is a little disheartening.
