Insight/ Victus Engine O-ring Chart with Latest Updates:

Board Settings are Key:
Insight number three was having issues with not shooting every time the trigger was pulled using older Valkeen paint Saturday, so Troubleshot the issue and resolved the issue with at least my marker. When I turned the eyes off, it shot almost normal ... The cause I don't understand, but here is what fixed it for me.
Turns out the Debounce was set to 2 ms, Mech Debouce was set to 3 and bolt delay was set to 15 from the factory (and also in the factory reset)
Both of my previous Insights were set to a Debounce of 12ms, Mech delay of 4 and Bolt Delay of 25 ms from the factory (also Factory reset settings) ...
After I set the new Insight to those settings it shot just fine and picked up all the trigger pulls ...
************** "Original" New (Vic Settings) What works well for me:
Debounce ... ******12ms ****** 2ms *********** 12ms
Mech Debounce ...***04 ******* 03 ************** 04
Trigger Filter ... **** 06 ******* 06 ************** 06
Dwell:************ 9ms ***** 12ms *********** 10.5ms
Bolt Delay: ******* 25ms ***** 15ms *********** 25ms
BD Delay: ******** 8ms ****** 8ms ************* 8ms

I just took my Multicam Insight set it to the new Victory settings above and it behaved exactly the same as the newer Insight I received a few weeks ago. It would not pick up every trigger pull on Semi, and it would not Ramp ... well, it wouldn't sustain a ramp ... It would shoot a few, then pause ... like it wasn't seeing the paint, although it was ... it would exhibit the exact behavior that a few of you have reported.
Reset it to the original settings minus the Dwell I set to 10.5ms and it shot perfect again.
I honestly think it is a board settings issue and how they are interacting with the Insight Engine. It is the only thing that makes sense to me. It is reproducible on multiple Insights using the Victory Settings ... I'll try the BCA insight and see if it does the same thing.
I call them Victory settings because my newest VIS came with the 5.19bd flash and was set to
Debounce: 02ms
Mech Debounce: 03
Trigger Filter: 06
Bolt Delay: 15ms
Those setting work just fine with both the VIS and Vcom Engines, but seem to cause issues with the Insight engine. Bob thinks what is happening is the Bolt is moving rearward so fast that the lower settings of the Victory are not "seeing" that the bolt moved back and a ball dropped in which is causing the weird firing behavior.
Some have had success using 4C eyes with the Victory factory settings, Although you shouldn't need to buy a $50 upgrade to have your marker shoot like it should. Try the board settings above and see how they work for you.

Hey smoke, I thought your gun was red and white? Is that just bad lighting?

Yeah it is, in low lighting it looks kinda grey on the pictures. It really is dust white though.

Do insights have problems with the Ninja V2 slp regs? I know some of the olde g6rs do and bob had to release new asa pins, but I'm not sure if I remember insights have that issue.

I believe it was only the bob long asa that use a traditional front screw-in post that had an issue.

The bottom "switch" design doesn't have any reported issues (at leas that I have ever seen).

Definitely get a SL tank I love my 68 SL, but I would also like to get a 77ci since my arms are long. I might just pick up a tank reg extender to save money though.

Yea, I'm bouncing between the 68 and 77. I have a standard 68 now, so I don't know if I shouls go shoter and get a 68sl, or slightly bigger and get a 77sl. I'm going to take my insight to the shop tomorrow and try them out to see which I like best.

That's a good idea, my 68 SL is a little short for running and gunning but good for snake. I will probably pick up a 77 SL when I have the extra cash maybe after I get my tax return.

They didn't have a 77, so I got a 68 with slp reg. It looks like there is only a half inch difference, so I can always get a reg extender if I want a slightly longer tank.

well if the old rules are still in place (big poppa pink has been on hiatus) your supposed to put a link to this club in your sig. and post pictures of your gun (which you have already done)

the sig thing is the reaosn why im not on the list.. does anyone else have any unput on how we should do this?

as for "tank talk" if your used to the length of the standard 68/45 then definitely get a 77, i have 10 years of use of a 68/4500 behind me, the SL definitely feels a lot shorter than 1/2 an inch..

Guess I need to be a part of this as well....since I have recently acquired three of these beasts into my new started up again collection of markers. I'll post a nice pic of the three tomorrow, but if you want to verify, I posted a crappy photo of my urban camo acid wash in the insight pic thread. (Multi-color splash bliss insight and a Lifegame Insight are my other two)

All I can say is I'm really addicted to these things, and with them being in $500ish range, I'm really having a hard time resisting to pick up another one. I love my luxe, love my lv1, but that insight, the quality of shot, efficiency, simplicity, and what I paid for them blows my mind.
