I'm almost positive he went to go shoot a Vicious player who he thought played on and that was why the refs called a penalty. I highly doubt a seasoned Pro would ever do anything like what was stated above

He is not shooting the ref, even if he fired a shot or to it would went past the ref. He is not even pointing at the ref. Maybe it looks that way from this view but the ref is standing way further away from him.

To the OP: if the player fired, it was definitely to the ref's right (player's left). Angles are all wrong. Plus he didn't flinch, etc.

He shot to the right of the ref. Penalty assessed probably because he was already deemed eliminated and he fired his gun

I dnt think a person playing as long as Nicky Cuba would shoot a ref on purpose. That would be so bad for the sport since he is well known
