i have seen lots of info on the response going full auto and not stopping, but haven't seen anything on it not going auto.

here is what i have:
98 custom platinum basic (non ACT)
cyclone feed
response trigger
empire aluminum 47/3000 HPA tank (high pressure - 800 psi)

i got the response and cyclone off another gun, so they are used. i put in new o-rings on the fittings and new tubing in the handle (piston to first fitting).

now that i have it all buttoned up, the cyclone feed works fine but the response trigger does dang near nothing. i can see the piston shoot out a little, but the gun doesn't go full auto.

i have upped the velocity two full turns and it didn't change. i adjusted the other screw in-line to all the way out (full air flow) and it didn't help, either.

i really feel like this is an adjustment issue but not 100% sure, obviously. but i wanted to see if there was anything obvious i'm missing b/c i'm new and don't know what i'm doing.

Screw the flow adjuster screw all the way in...the trigger should be hard as hell to pull...if it isn't you have a leak in the r/t system somewhere. Each r/t has a "sweet spot". The r/t needs to be adjusted the way you play, bottle on marker or remote line...either way it needs to be adjusted that way. When you adjust e flow control screw...back it out an 1/8 turn at a time and go from there.
