leaaakkkk....argh

ok well i just got my gun back from warped today...screwed my tank on and everything..well the thing leaked from around the front grub screw and the front cap..well i tried the ole soapy water trick...to no avail..so i tore the ting down and put some luibe on everything and put her back together...well now i screw my tank in and air blows right through the adj screw hole for the vert reg...mind you warped rebuilt my vert reg when i sent it to him...so yeah now i'm very confused. i had the screw back all the way in..i unscrewed my thank and screwed the screw out and then back in. not sure what the problem is all i know is all the air is blowing through that hole.

Arg indeed. That gun shot beautifully at my place. Did you adjust any of the settings before airing it up? I had everything set exactly where it needed to be.

If it is leaking out the adjustment screw of the HPR, then the oring is bad in the exhaust valve seat.

I think it might be the o-ring on the plunger or AOC body causing the leak up front. It might be venting out that AOC atmospheric vent under the asa.

Also I noticed that on my rebuilt regs if you adjust them all the way in or all the way out, they sometimes leak from that hole. Most likely it is stuck in either position from adjusting it all the way in or out, causing the leak.

Try checking the o-rings on the AOC plunger and AOC body. It might be necessary to shim them out with teflon tape. As for the inline, try adjusting the screw to about 5 turns from all the way in and give it some pressure and see if it seals up.

The HPR is very sensitive too.
It is definately a bad idea even to adjust that screw without a chrono present at least.

When I am adjusting anything, I like a LP gauge, hp gauge, and a chrono present to properly tune the marker.

If I remember correctly, all the way out is about 800 psi (or whatever your tank regulates at), and as you turn the screw in (clockwise) the pressure goes down. I usually turn it down to 150psi, first, then I work my way back towards 300psi to see the FPS start off low and climb to 300+, then I work back down to the pressure that gives me 290psi.

edwin....i had a leak on the front..so i turned it in to drop the pressure see if i could get the leak to quit..when that didnt work i tore the gun down...didnt mess with anything...and then put it back together...then the adj screw leaked...so yeah i gotta get problem 2 fixed before getting back to problem one of the original leak..if it is even leaking
