Four Recommended Settings.
1. Super smooth lowest recoil, quiet, shoot the most fragile paint
a. Green bolt tip insert, no spacer insert
b. Operating pressure approximately 110psi
c. Efficiency: 1200-1300 shots off a 68/4500 tank

2. Stock settings from factory balance of all performance features
a. Red bolt tip insert, no spacer insert
b. Operating pressure approximately 120psi
c. Efficiency: approximately 1400 shots off a 68/4500 tank

3. Efficiency one better efficiency, still well balanced performance
a. Red bolt tip insert, green spacer insert
b. Operating pressure approximately 130psi
c. Efficiency: approximately 1500 shots off a 68/4500 tank

4. Efficiency two ultimate spool valve efficiency
a. Red, or blue bolt tip insert, yellow spacer insert
b. Operating pressure approximately 140psi
c. Efficiency: 1600-1700 shots off a 68/4500 tank

He's tuning an NT 10, they don't have all those pieces.

You get a blue tip, red tip, and 4 spacers.

why do you say that? just curious not disagreeing with you..I just got an nt10 a couple weeks ago and im just trying to learn as much as I can about them..I know that the manual says stock is 6 and I have mine set on 7 right now because of it being a little colder outside in the winter..you saying the higher dwell because of it cold outside to prevent bolt stick?

higher dwell=lower pressure. seems to be softer on paint when u lower the pressure. i love NT's in my opinion they are the best gun out but they do have one huge flaw. brittle paint in cold weather.

i tuned my friends stock nt and it shot great
dwell at 9, pressure at 110 with no spacers. his shot 293-297 all day and was super smooth

Blusylver thank you for clearing that up for me while I was gone!

But, that is exactly correct, as you extend the period the solenoid stays open, it allows you to lower your operating pressure, to which making the marker softer.
