So why all the talk about the TechT G5 bolt?

Don't know. I mean other than maybe a little extra efficiency, the sound and bolt stick have been solved with the stock bolt, imo.

not in any DP gun ever. It has always been a grease issue. The ridges are complete BS as far as anti bolt stick goes.

Not saying they do anything. But I did have issues with my old g3 with sticking if i didnt put the exact right amount of grease on. Now I can use however much.

LOL - just proved Foxx's point. As he stated, there was never a bolt stick issue with the G series markers from a design standpoint. The bolt stick problems that people were having was from either (or both) using the 1st run of DP-40 lube (it was too sticky and thick - I believe it has been reformulated now) and/or users were not using the correct amount of lube (either not enough ro, in most cases, too much). Which ever of the 2 sources it was, the overlying reason is/was a lube issue. As you have figured out Dedloc, once you get the correct type and amount figured out, it's good to go.

You obviously dont know how a tuned G series marker shoots with a Techt bolt engine and APE board combo...
Id rather shoot my upped SpecR than a geo2.1 with the annoying constant puff of air from the upper reg/frame when firing.

What is the exact or right amount??
I sold my G3 to someone that also has a G3. He hasn't been able to get rid of the bolt stick; No matter how little or how much or the right amount he used.

No, it is a lemon.
I changed all the o-rings when I had it. He changed them all and people still tells him the he has too much or too little lube causing it not to work.

it probably was due to user error. there is no such thing a true lemon unless the tolerances are so ****ed up that it leaks no matter what you try.
btw if your buddy doesnt want to deal with the "lemon" that you sold him then tell him to send it to me. ill have it up and running within an hour.

Maybe mine and his are expired and his working G3 likes expired Dow33 whereas the G3 I sold him needs fresh Dow33.
The other beef, is everyone says the DP lube sucks, so why does DP keep shipping it with their guns. Obviously they don't listen to owners and include Dow33 instead.

because they dont listen to me when i tell them the grease sucks. As stated above, they "reformulated" it with the G5 release.
grease the noid with a good grease. Dow33 is for cavemen. Get a good grease like lurker, techt, violent.
