Belsales Discussion Thread - Evolution and Predator AutoCockers
Feel free discuss anything related to Belsales Evolutions and Predator Autocockers here!
Just picked up the shroud today and put the front grip back on it. Excited.
I just need an old school freak that matches instead of this new SuperFreak and a set of old Smart Parts or wood grips and it will be all original.

Some people eat those up right now. I just sold a friends Evo and he said before I listed it, someone offered $100 for just the grips!
Better pic.

Are you interested in the wood grips at all? I definitely wouldn't rape you on them.

Look at your grips again and then look at my gun. You should be able to see why that wouldn't work...
Plus, no BST please.

Those grips are the wrong size, shape and angle to fit on a .45 frame. It's not just the screw mounting location.

It's not perfect. But it is in really good shape. My Silver Evolution on the other hand, now it is perfect.

Just out of curiosity...... isn't this supposed to be in the "pics" sticky thread? Since you are asking for no technical assistance or showing a build, just a pic.

Sure. It could be there if I didn't want any discussion. The pic thread is only for pics. I added my pic, thanks for the reminder.

Evolutions are a high end production autococker by Belsales. They were originall imported into the US by Smart Parts.

What's it got under the hood? Do ya also have an Equalizer sear in there? Ever considered adding a polished AKA trigger plate in it? It some how improves on a flawless Belsales frame.
Pic of my Evo just because...

Nice right feed Evo! Has it been reanodized?
It has the Belsales roller sear but I believe it still has the stock trigger plate.
It has all black Belsales Evo pneumatics of course...

I picked it up off eBay for around $115 shipped had the body, backblock, and front block reanodized for like $50 on MCB. The rest of the parts came off my Orracle. The body was purple but included all the original internals plus it came with a benchmark frame that I sold to cover most of the anodizing. The front block isn't original. I decided to go with a milled version since I wasn't planning on using a shroud. Mine was never a restoration, I just wanted a right-feed Evo as my primary cocker. That's my the stock parts are in storage and the AKA parts are everywhere.
You can usually tell if it's the Belsales stock trigger plate by checking for plating. Most 2k trigger plates produced were nickle plated, but Belsales kept theirs polished SS. If your trigger plate is not plated then it's probably original. I prefer them because you can always take them out and polish them up to a mirror shine. The AKA trigger plate isn't plated either and requires some elbow grease to get it right but it shortens the pull a tad and takes out what little bit of side-to-side play there is in the Angry frame.
How do you like the new Belsales LPR? I've thought about replacing my Microrock with one just to make it right.

That is an amazing score for $115. Good job!
I just put on the blacked out pneumatics. I haven't even aired it up yet.

Thank you for the complements guys. I honestly think people stayed away from it on eBay since it was well used, purple, and it didn't have a HPR, barrel, or asa. She was used but not abused which is all that matters when you're getting her reanodized.
Since the thread name changed I guess I can post this...
I picked this one up on MCB. The guys roof had collapsed in the den of his house and he needed cash fast, so he threw this up for sale for $150 totally unaware of what he had. I offered him $225 to be semi-fair, I would have offered more if I had more at the time. I had to replace every single oring in the regs/ram/3way and it was shooting as good as the Evo. I don't know why it's black, but I'm guessing this was one of the US versions. Surprisingly, the 3way on this cocker is just as smooth, if not smoother than the Hollowpoint. They clearly spent a lot of time matching/polishing parts for it to be a perfectly smooth stroke.
