its got a subaru motor.. its the same car as the subaru br-z, based on the same platform.. they may not have a ton of power, but they are very well balanced, and have a tried and true driveline.. but like any subaru.. don't get an automatic, and if you keep it for a long time, keep an eye on your head gaskets.

I agree that i like them over almost everything else suggested.. stay away from rotary motors, unless you know alot about them... they should be rebuilt often if you drive it like a sports car.. my brother bought an rx-8 with around 120xxx and it had enough compression lost in 1 cylinder to cause it to randomly stall when stopping..

but i am slightly biased for the fact that i love almost any subaru...

If you do actually get it, put real tires on it. Car and Driver put dunlop direzza star specs and around a track it was faster than an impreza wrx and a mazdaspeed3

Depends on the track.

It was also slower around the track than a V6 mustang...

Ehh. It doesn't put the power down well and, in a straight line, really isn't faster than other cars with less power that would also dominate it around a track, like the WRX and MS3.

ORLY? The v-6 mustang beats the wrx and ms3 on VIR by a significant margin. It has more power and has a better weight distribution. The live axel would suck driving hard on bumpy backroads though.

Get it up to speed and find out how it handles. Its their economy car. Its not made for speed. Also, local dealership doesnt have a single one under 30k.. Can get a Challengee R/T for that that'll disappear on it.

I prefer the subaru version. If I were to buy that car it would definitely be the brz. I still don't like them though. I like sports cars that go fast.
