Well.. I kinda want one for my Rotor..My exalt one never loses any paint regardless of what I do, but I like topping my hoppers off a paint caddy and the exalt SF kinda prevents me from topping the hopper off without making a mess.. The fingers tend to have too much resistance to pressing down.

Sadly at $45 it's probably not something I'll end up buying to remedy my insignificant problem, but if I were in the market for a new speedfeed I'd definitely look into getting one.

Not really commenting on your thoughts about the volume of Halos or Rotors sold.

But the first time I saw the Halo was at World Cup 2001. Here's a picture I took at the tradeshow then.


I don't believe it was available for resale just then, but it took several years to "take over" as people were still using Eggs and Revolutions through 2004 (and beyond) as you can see here:


Not really much point to this post, I was just going through my old photo archive and I thought it was interesting how long it took from a loaders first appearance to its "wide spread" adoption rate. Same with the Revolution and subsequently the Egg.

Question for a Z2 does this come with magnets built into the lid like the Exalt? Just wondering because the snap lid combined with magnets on the Exalt works amazing. If you guys have the same combo going on I would love to pick one of these up.

Yes there are magnets on the lid, they seem a bit more powerful than the stock lid. Which is nice, because it will need to be opened much less frequently.
