I was thinking about buying a used victory, comes with everything new, has 10 cases through it, the guy wants $550, is it worth it? What should I look for if I go look at it?

Air it up. $550 for a v1 or v2? if it's a v2 its a steal if it's a v1 you can probably find a better deal on here, but it isn't too outrageous a price either.

seems a little high. There are better deals out there. Make sure its super charged.

why? all that you would have to do is sweet spot the regs and clean/replace orings in the engine

no...thats all that you HOPE you would have to do if it doesnt chrono.....hopefull thebblast guide isnt defective or the donut or even the ram shaft....(all of htese parts have been prone to problems in the past).....and replafing them can add up quick....I know this from experience...

if you buy a victory ask to see it shot over a chrono before buying thats all im saying....just trust me on this one...

^agreed, and it's a v1, my v2 had some problems with the lpr. Wish I'd shot over a chrono before buying it. Wouldn't get over 250 for one then messed up the internals a bit, but in the end got it working and it's a dream! Also expect v1's and v2's price to go up because of the spool engine.

v1 vics are great guns. just had and still have some issues with parts reliability....which is to be expected somewhat I guess when dealing with a "first run" if you will...looks like all are sorted out for now...but the real reason is Blast has stretched the efficiency limits to the point where they wont get much...if any better....so when one tiny tiny little thing goes wrong it sometimes can severely effect performance....its a trade off i guess.

also if you buy it make sure you get a pressure tester...

just got a V1 Supercharged with virtue OLED and tester delivered for $473. Havent shot it yet though. just gonna send it to blast for tuning.

yeah, i just want it gone through for potential issues. id air it up but not sure if i can with my tank reg output of 800 psi.its also got the longer reg which i consider a plus.

You dont need or want a high output tank/reg...

You can use lp or slp on them..

You can use your Pro with no problems. Take the two red shims out of the regulator and it will output 450psi. The SLP outputs 300psi. You'll gain a little efficiency by going to the SLP, but how much is 150psi difference really going to get you? It's not worth it in my opinion, unless you get the SLP reg for a really good deal.

If it is really only 10 cases, I suppose it should be in excellent condition. And price near to be reasonable, you can find cheaper little bit, but if you can try it before buy it is better then buy via forum just by photo, so may be pay little bit more for such chance. And check that it has SC engine.
