Empire Axe - LE PDD vs Empire Axe Pro
besides the obvious $75 difference, what does the LE PDD have that the regular axe pro doesn't?

The Empire Freak kit and a warranty from Kee Action Sports/Empire. Empire doesn't offer an Axe Pro. The Axe Pro is an ANSGear package ONLY and doesn't offer a warranty. You may run into issues with an ANS anodized Pro with Empire since anodizing can change the tolerances of key parts causing it not to work properly.

The le. The freak is obviously a barrel choice that many pro players use, and the warranty, even if you've never used one, is nice to have!

They have a tendency to get orders wrong and then be extremely difficult about fixing them.
And I've heard their private label annos can **** things up. I specifically remember a guy with an Ego that was out of spec and wouldn't shoot because of ANS' anno.
Which was especially miserable for him because ANS pointed him at Eclipse to get it fixed and Eclipse pointed at ANS. Definitely a buyer beware.

Nothing is wrong with ANS, it's just their policies on custom products like anno'd guns. They send out the gun, have it anno'd, then re-assemble it and send it out. If something is wrong after the anno, they accept no responsibility and try to put it on the manufacturer to fix knowing it was their fault it broke in the first place. To date, I have seen 3 effed up anno'd by ANS guns;
pink-black fade mini - ANS reassembled the gun and stripped the rear screw mounting the trigger frame.
Lime Green Axe Pro - custom anno pitted the tray where the bolt release button goes no longer allows the mechanism to hold the button.
Cobalt/Black Axe - custom anno'd air transfer plate, pitted to where it doesn't seal anymore.
Not to mention, if they are out of something you want or ordered specifically, they will substitute with something else. That being said, you take your chances with custom work done by ANS, but hey it's your money.

What the 2 guys above me said. Not that it was a big deal but they sent me the wrong size jersey and wanted me to pay return shipping. I have also read of quite a few part swapped guns that the manufacturer wouldn't warranty.
