It makes me sad that Led Zeppelin was it. There will never be another band to peak like they did. Personally I think they're the greatest band ever. They had it all, a song for every ear. the thing that keeps zeppelin from such a high ranking is the fact that so 50% of their songs were covers. obviously I love them with all my heart, but they fall behind quite a few bands in the GOAT list because of that. bonham dying was one of the best things that could happen to zeppelin. they started to tail off, and really lose their touch towards the end, and would have really tarnished their legacy.

I've found myself listening to a lot of chillwave lately. I enjoy the 80's new wave / psych pop. Whatever you want to call it.

Toro y Moi and Washed Out are two of the bigger names in the genre, but just like XXYYXX they pretty much just made the stuff in their rooms with a synth and a computer.

Nah I actually see most of my friends at least every 3 days. EKU is only 30 minutes away.

now that's pretty ****ing crazy. I've been to a countless amount, and have seen pretty much anyone you can name.

the most recent ones I have gone to are bloc party, bob dylan, my morning jacket, rush, smashing pumpkins, spoon, paul simon, m. ward, wilco, and the ****tons of people at coachella and outside lands. gonna see the who next week for the first time.
