Anyone think an ipad is A nice addition to your bag?

I can't think of any reason to have one. Just get a little netbook and add an SSD to it (not for increased performance, but because it can take abuse.)

I bought an i7 2540p for $400 and added a 12hr battery, SSD, 8GB RAM all for $150 more.

I myself have a couple laptops but not notebooks or netbooks. I like the idea about a mini but also cant find a reason... consumer whore right here! I thought itd be A good addition with A gopro.

tablets are useful for showing your portfolios to clients.

I've enjoyed using one to show a portfolio. That's the only use I've found for it.

ipad + eye-fi allows for on location client viewing.
