Luxe needs new bolt. Which to get?
So my 2.0 bolt needs a replacement spring and the bolt it's self is really worn out (version without the oring in front)
I tried searching around, but couldn't find much.
For the 2.0 Core, what are the pros and cons of each:
NDZ Bolt
Pooty Flat Face
Stock 2.0 Bolt (with or without rhino spring mod)

Why replace the whole bolt whenever all you need is a spring?
Regardless, the stock bolt kit from DLX is the best kit out there

I cannot comment on anything other than the pooty flat face because it is all I have ever used. It works great. The end

I LOVE my pooty core. But 2.0 also works great!

Luxe bolt should never wear out, other than the spring needing replacement occasionally. I personally prefer the version without front oring because disassembly is easier.

Kinda OT, what difference does a Rhino spring make in a 2.0 bolt over the stock spring?

To my knowledge you can't use a Rhino spring with the 2.0 core without some machining work.
By most accounts, folks are very happy with the performance and reliability of the 2.0 core. The only downside seems to be that the springs can be damaged if you aren't careful during reassembly. The 2.0 core will work fine without the spring and as I understand it, DLX replaces the springs for free.
I LOVE how my 1.5 shoots. Personally, if I had a 2.0 and the spring broke, I'd just remove the spring and play without it.

Rhino spring is more durable. I don't know if there is a difference in tension between the stock 2.0 spring. It does need to be machined to use it.
Pooty sells the new updated bolts by themselves, if you want a updated 2.0 replacement. I believe if you buy a bolt from him you can get it machined to accept the rhino springs as an option for free
I personally like flat faced bolts. They do what they're designed to do

The 2.0 spring will die at around 50k shots.
The Rhino springs have gone into the millions without any issues at all.
Proper oring and break in on a stock core if your not having any clipping or eye alignment issues is the best.
The 2.0 is not as good as a rhino sprung 1.0/1.5
NDZ and Pooty already uses the rhino spring.
Kevin,If your still in GA bring your bolt.I also can spring mod your bolt for the Rhino and have a few of them lying around.
Pooty will need your guide and bolt as the guide has to be turned down and the bolt has to be opened up in the back.

Has anyone had their spring (not bolt) die at 50K shots; that's a bad design if it does? if so, what happens when it dies?

Actually you're wrong, the pooty flat face is the best bolt out.

If one plays 2 times a month and uses a case of paint each time, the spring would fail almost once a year (48K shots per year). That can't be right.

That's about the number of shots we've seen until it lets go. I designed a new spring for replacement that won't break, but since my original spring works so well,I never went into production with the bolt tip spring.
