Backlight timer issue

I have a weird problem with both my geo3's that I have never had before.
The backlight timer, ROF peak reader, game timer, ect will ONLY work if I boot the gun up via the "hold" method or hold the trigger while I boot up (either bootup) or if my switch is set to opti.

If I double tap bootup (which I have always done in the past with no issue) the backlight stays on, game timer does not start and peak ROF indicator does not monitor.

Is it something stupid I am over looking? Its just annoying to the fact of the backlight staying on constantly draining more battery and never having this issue before.

EDIT- It seems this came up after I changed both guns over to medium solenoid power (first time for both, as now its much colder). It seemed then everything got altered, tried changing back to low and no change.

EDIT 2- Since I was completely stumped, I went ahead and updated the firmware since it was at 1.50 on my older geo3. I updated to 1.52 thinking this would start a fresh slate. I got everything situated on preset PSP10, with trigger setting to "switch" and my timer set. It worked fine. I changed it to PSP12 (since thats what I use) and boom, backlight stays on regardless of timer. Im thinking it has something with the Bootup still though, any settings can be set and works if I do the "hold down" bootup, compared to double tap..

I don't normally mess with it, but I could not get my game timer to start this weekend. I changed the setting back and forth between "button" and "trigger" but it would never start counting down. It beeped when I tried the button method, but nothing happened.

There is a small bug in the 1.52 software I found out. Eclipse is correcting the issue.

Which firmware do you have? There seems to be a small work-around to avoid the bug. Let me know and I'll list a few things to try.

I'll have to check tonight. It's not a huge immediate need. I was just really perplexed by it this weekend. I really appreciate the help. Any idea when the new software will be out?
